The LightLink™ Equipment Frame System (EFS) is designed to support
traditional equipment and fiber management in Central Offices (CO),
Headends (HE), Remote Terminals (RT) and co-locate installations. The
system is completely backward compatible with the existing industry
standard LGX® footprint.
LightLink™ Equipment Frame System
LightLink™ Equipment Relay Rack
The LightLink Equipment Frame System (EFS) is designed to support
traditional equipment and fiber management in Central Offices (CO),
Headends (HE), Remote Terminals (RT) and co-locate installations. The
system is completely backward compatible with the existing industry
standard LGX® footprint. The Equipment Frame System includes; upper
Horizontal Routing Module (HRM), Lower Fiber Trough, 38 RU (1.75”) of
mounting space and five pairs of Vertical Fiber Retainer Brackets.
The freestanding Equipment Rack (ER) is a standard unequal flange
239 rack designed for Remote Terminal, Central Office, or other rack
environment. The Equipment Rack includes; upper Horizontal Routing
Module (HRM), Lower Fiber Trough, 38 RU (1.75”) of mounting space and
five pairs of Vertical Fiber Retainer Brackets. Both the EFS and ER
are available in a fully tested NEBS compliant Zone 4 Seismic design
and are UL® and CUL® listed.
Horizontal Intermediate Routing Module (HIRM)
LightLink™ Horizontal Intermediate Routing Module
The Horizontal Intermediate Routing Module (HIRM) was designed to
allow for jumper management at a midpoint within the EFS or ER frame
assembly. Jumpers can be safely routed from one side to the other
eliminating the need for longer jumpers. The HIRM Spools are designed
to limit bend radii.
Vertical Slack Storage Module (VSSM)

Vertical Slack Storage Module
The LightLink Vertical Slack Storage Module (VSSM) provides an
organized method for storing excess optical jumper slack and routing
optical jumpers within the frame system or between adjoining frame
systems, thus helping to eliminate the need for numerous lengths of
optical jumpers. The module is equipped with six patented high impact
resistant Lexan™ adjustable slack spools that are designed with bend
limiting radii and a lower fiber trough. Spools may be adjusted
horizontally and vertically on the module’s grid.
Adapter Plates
LightLink™ Adapter Plates
LightLink Adapter Plates add versatility to the AFL
Telecommunications’ panel product line. Adapter plates are compatible
with industry standard platforms allowing for easy upgrades of
existing panels. Adapter Plates come preloaded and are available in 6,
8, and 12 pack versions.

Adapter Brackets
LightLink™
23" to 19" Adapter Brackets
Adapter Brackets allow for the mounting of 19" (1 RU, 2 RU, 3 RU or
4 RU) equipment or termination panels, that do not have 23" mounting
ears, into the EFS or ER 23" frames. Adapter Brackets are designed to
mate up with most equipment or panel product mounting brackets.
Filler Panels
LightLink™ Filler Panels
Filler Panels are designed for additional protection of rack-mounted
components or to dress out vacant rack positions. The 7" (4 RU) offset
filler panel provides the addition of a covered Vertical Cable Guide
(VCG), which increases the protection of fiber jumpers within the
Equipment Frame System or Equipment Rack.
Rear Door Kit

Equipment Frame System Rear Door Kit
The Equipment Frame System (EFS) Rear Door Kit is designed for the
EFS-23-7 and provides additional protection to sensitive components
mounted in the rack. The EFS Rear Door Kit also improves system
appearance.
