Carlon® Micro-Gard™ is mini-duct that can be installed into empty or occupied duct structures via jetting, blowing or pulling installation methods. Additionally, very small cable, known as micro-cable, can be installed inside the Micro-Gard product via the same methods.

Micro-Gard Mini-Ducts are similar to standard HDPE inner duct, but manufactured using P3408 pressure resin rated at 3300 PSI to resist relatively higher air pressures and pulling tensions on these smaller ducts. The relatively smaller duct size creates potential installation conditions that are more strenuous requiring higher product performance characteristics in areas such as burst pressures, minimum bending, pulling tensile and dimensional control that can be more critical than with larger HDPE inner duct. Carlon has worked extensively with other leading industry partners to develop a product with performance characteristics to handle both jetting/blowing and pulling environments. A full compliment of installation accessories and fittings provides a complete system solution.
