The OFS 300 is a versatile instrument for the inspection of optical fiber connectors. By employing universal adapter cap mount, it can inspect virtually any connector style for scratches, dirt, or other problems normally associated with poor transmission performance. The OFS 300 offers 60 hours of continuous battery life. A 2.5mm universal adapter cap, holster, and user's guide are included with OFS 300 scopes.
 
Two models of the OFS 300 are available. The OFS 300-200C offers precision 200X magnification to easily inspect both multimode and single-mode fiber optic connectors. The OFS 300-400C with 400X magnification is available for more critical inspection during termination, especially with single-mode fibers.
 
Various adapter caps are available to convert an adapter cap mount to the desired connector style. The OFS 300-200C uses the same common threaded connector adapter caps as the Noyes Optical Power Meters and Loss Test Sets. The OFS 300-400C utilizes special pre-centered snap-in adapter caps, which ensure proper fiber location in the viewing area.

The VFS 1 is a portable video microscope designed to inspect fiber optic connectors through bulkhead adapters. The VFS 1 can be used to inspect fiber optic connectors installed in patch panels, distribution frames, network equipment, and test equipment. It consists of an inspection probe with an internal LED coaxial light source, a miniature CCD video camera, and a high-resolution active matrix LCD display unit. 
The front arm of the probe may be used in two positions: straight or 60°. The focus control is located at the rear of the probe. This allows the user to easily focus the probe even while inspecting connectors on equipment back planes or densely packed patch panels. The probe accepts adapter tips that can be quickly changed when inspecting different connector types.
The size and resolution of this display and the resolving power of the optics used in the probe allow detection of pits, scratches, and contamination within the polished end of 125µm fiber. In addition, a wide field of view allows inspection of the surrounding ferrule to a diameter of at least 250µm. A video output is provided for an external monitor.
VFS 1 and VFS 1-CE models include: probe, display unit, AC Adapter (specify power cord), neck strap, external battery charger, one lead-acid battery, carry case, and manual. 
VFS 1-PC and VFS 1-PCE models include: probe, interface unit, AC Adapter (specify voltage), (4) AA batteries, carry case, and manual.  Adapter tips are required and must be ordered separately.

The VFS 2 is a small extremely versatile video fiber scope, which retains the superior image quality associated with Noyes inspection products. The unique "optical-knuckle" allows the user orient the probe head in virtually any direction. This feature allows the user to view connectors that may be located in tight or difficult locations. With a probe head length of less than 8 cm (3.25"), access into crowded/cramped quarters becomes a reality.
The VFS 2 resolves ¾ micron scratches, keeping with our standard of quality end-face images. This unit is designed for one-handed operation and with the "optical-knuckle" feature, the unit is equally easy for both right and left handed individuals.
The new precision adapter tips for the VFS 2 ease getting fiber images in the viewing area. These tips ensure the optics will view into the alignment sleeve, thereby simplifying centering the fiber.
The VFS 2 probe may be paired with the VFS 2 high-resolution 3.5-inch display or the VFS 1 high-resolution 5-inch display.
Also, the VFS 2 Inspection Probe may be used with the VCP 1 Video Capture Port, which allows the user to inspect fiber optic end-faces and capture viewed images on a PC.
