MVC64
The MVC64 Series vibratory plate compactors are designed for the
effective compaction
of granular soils and asphalt and their narrow width makes each ideal
for work in
confined spaces.
This four-model line offers numerous improvements over Multiquip’s
predecessor MVC60H
compactors. For starters, the MVC64 Series sports dual bottom plates
extending the life
of the compactor while offering excellent plate-cleaning characteristics.
Two gasoline
engine options are available — a 4.3-horsepower Robin EX-13
and 4-horsepower Honda
GX-120 — as are 10.6-quart (10 liters) water tanks to facilitate
easier compaction
and improve operator comfort. A lifting bale and engine protection
frame are also
among the new value-added features.
MVC-88
The most technically advanced plate compactor on the market.
The MVC-88 comes with a host of features, including a protective
engine guard, sealed belt cover to keep rock and dirt out of the
belt,
a convenient oil drain, self-cleaning plate design and four lifting
handles
for easy elevation from each side. The MVC-88, which is driven by
a 5.5-horsepower
Honda GX-160 engine, showcases 3,450 pounds (1,565 kg) of compaction
force and
has a 19.7 x 20.7 inch (50 x 53 cm) plate.

MVC-77
This versatile vibratory plate is the economically priced solution
to all basic
compaction needs.
The MVC-77 is the smart choice for flatwork, trenches and driveways
with 3,350
pounds (1,520 kg.) of compaction force. Its solid, high-strength
steel base plate
design has curved edges for superior performance and smooth turns
on asphalt.
This one-way plate compactor has a 17 x 22.4 inch (43 x 57 cm.) plate
and comes
with the option of Robin or Honda gasoline engines. The MVC-77 is
also available
with or without an impact-resistant plastic water tank.
MVC90
The MVC90 boasts more standard features than any other forward
compactor.
This one-way plate produces 3,350 (1,520 kg.) of centrifugal force
and is
fitted with a 19.6 x 22 inch (50 x 56 cm.) plate. The MVC90’s
durable
steel-enclosed and ribbed base plate eliminates dirt and rock build-up
while extending the life of the compactor. The MVC90 includes an
engine
oil alarm that shuts the machine down if the oil falls below a
safe level,
a heavy-duty vibrator assembly, a durable steel water distribution
system,
reversible shock mounted handle and the choice of Robin or Honda
gasoline
engines.
